With over 20 years of experience of human resources and employment law, Jennifer Cooper brings a rare and powerful combination of strategic HR leadership and California paralegal expertise. She specializes in helping organizations build proactive, legally sound people operations, long before a lawsuit becomes a threat.
Jennifer currently serves as a Human Resources Executive and California Paralegal, offering an integrated service model that prevents workplace disputes, ensures continuous compliance, and creates a strong legal foundation. She partners closely with employment law firms to help win cases efficiently and partners with executive leadership to align HR strategy with business growth.
In the past, she led regional HR operations, droves mission-focused people strategies, and managed complex employee relations in collaboration with internal and external counsel. Her ability to balance clinical and administrative needs with organizational growth has made her a trusted advisor in many industries both nationally and internationally.
Her background includes leading HR for startups, small-to-mid-sized businesses, nonprofits, healthcare, technology, finance and international SaaS and dairy equipment companies. Jennifer has guided organizations through mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, workforce reductions, talent management, and cultural transformation, all while maintaining a sharp focus on legal compliance and employee experience.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, a Paralegal Certification from DAS California, and an SPHR credential. She is also certified in Google AI Essentials, Microsoft AI Agents, Employee Relations Law, and life coaching through the ICF.
Outside of work, Jennifer volunteers her time coaching first responders in recovery, helping women re-enter the workforce, and supporting local food drives.
